Ingrid McDowellTraining Coordinator
Ingrid McDowell DrPH(c), MPH is the Training Coordinator for The Johns Hopkins University Regional Partner of the MidAtlantic AETC. She is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of training programs, technical assistance and other activities related to the project such as engagement of community-based organizations and medication assisted treatment centers. She functions as a health educator with formal programs, clinical training and consultation to a variety of providers, agencies and programs. She coordinates, facilitates and provides HIV and other related trainings. She has 18 years of experience working in HIV education, training, treatment, prevention and capacity building. She is an active member of the American Public Health Association (APHA) and a partner member of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC). Ingrid is also a member of the Board of Directors at Older Women Embracing Life (OWEL).
