We are very proud and excited to share that Kelly Lowensen MSN, RN, ACRN received the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association’s (JHAA)Community Champion Award. This prestigious award reflects JHAA’s gratitude and appreciation to those alumni and friends of Johns Hopkins who have made outstanding contributions addressing critical social, economic and environmental needs throughout our society and communities. Kelly received this award for her efforts in leading the efforts on implementation of 4 COVID research projects during the lockdown and coordinating CIDNI’s vaccination clinics co-located with syringe support service programs to ensure that people who inject drugs had equal access to COVID-19 vaccine.
