The Health Department of Pennsylvania has reported that two unvaccinated people have died and that these deaths are the first deaths from measles this year and the first in the past 35 years. According to The New York Times, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have reported that the kindergarten vaccination rate for the 2025 – 2026 school year was 92.4% and we need more than 95% for herd immunity.
